I think I drank too much coffee before the marketing meeting. We were planning to attend a trade show soon and one of my colleagues was demonstrating various promotional items. I longed to pick up one of the star shaped plastic spring toys and see if I could make it walk across the desk. Then she showed us a few miniature neon colored foam foot balls. I fought the urge to throw them around the room. Then she pulled out notebooks that had our company’s logo on the cover in the middle of a colorful spiral. That actually made me nauseous. I mentioned this to her and offered the suggestion that she might reconsider these items considering that we would be at a trade show that featured vending items such as snacks and coffee. I think the fun items would be good, but I don’t think that motion sickness is a good way to promote peanut brittle.
