I like my mattress protector. When my mother gave it to me for an anniversary present, I don’t think I adequately expressed my appreciation. Now that I’ve had it for awhile I understand what a great gift this is. I have to admit, when I saw the wrapper, I immediately thought of the rubberized kind for little kids. I thought it might be fun to put on the bed if I wanted to nap and finger paint at the same time. Or perhaps if you wanted to make a snow angel type of thing with baby powder, this would be a good thing to have. Both of those things sound like fun, but I didn’t know my mother thought so. I did not realize that a mattress protector would be so light and undetectable. It’s protecting me and the mattress, essentially from each other. The mattress doesn’t get offended by my body temperature and the associated effects, and I don’t have to worry about dust or anything else floating out and giving me allergies.
